Mental Health Week





This week was Mental Health Week! Yr 5/6 have done various activities to share happiness such as discussing how our opinion matters, creating word art pictures which celebrate what makes us who we are and thinking of ways we can show kindness towards each other in our school and at home. The Year 6 Mental Health Ambassadors also launched their exciting new clubs in our celebration assembly. 

 

This week is Children’s Mental Health Week  and in Reception we have been speaking about what mental health is, its importance and what we can do to help support our own mental wellbeing. We recognise that we all have lots of different feeling and that all feelings are valid - we thought about some things that would make a positive impact. We enjoyed taking part in some yoga and having a bubble party to practise our calm gentle breathing!
