Having finished as one of the two top teams in the league the school team were invited to take part in the EPFL School Champions Cup Semi Final fixture. The school team did themselves, spectators and their school proud against some tough competition and came away as the 3rd placed team

Big thanks to Andy and Miss Frost for their support and coaching throughout the League this season and the Cup

For some background

The EPFL Champions Cup is a knockout cup competition which takes place once per year after the conclusion of the normal league season. The Champions Cup is an invite only competition where teams must qualify for entry by finishing as the highest scoring top 3 teams in their group as part of the normal EPFL league season.

The 8 teams that qualify for the Champions Cup go into a random draw for the quarter final stage. The winner of each quarter final then qualifies for the semi finals, where the subsequent winners qualify for the grand final and the defeated teams play in a 3rd/4th place play off. All teams receive a certificate for taking part in the competition, and the overall winners receive the EPFL Champions Cup Trophy which they get to engrave and keep for 1 year until the next final.
